The block level diagram of the setup of this experiment explains that there is a sine wave given from Function generator of 20 Hz which is also seen in the scope terminal of channel CH1. Then the sine wave is PCM Encoded with a Master Clock signal of 2 kHz given to both the PCM-Encoded & PCM-Decoded Blocks. The PCM Decoded again recovered the sine wave which can be seen in the figure 1 of calculation part.
